Local caterers!!

Matt from Morrinsville

Hello Community,

I just wanted to take a quick moment to introduce ourselves and what we offer.

We are Smokin' Oak Barbecue and we are a Morrinsville based catering company that specializes in Low and Slow American style barbecue.

We offer barbecue catering for events such as work do's, weddings, club or corporate events, birthdays and more.

We also have a brand new drop off menu for work places, clubs or gatherings who are looking for breakfasts, morning or afternoon teas or lunches delivered.

Along with our catering we also offer pop up style food stalls for market days, festivals, community events or anywhere someone needs food sold to the public.

Finally, we also offer cooked barbecue meats to any cafes or eateries who might want low and slow barbecue cuts for pies, dishes, menu specials or other.

If you want to find out more about us, what we offer and our menus, check us out at www.smokinoak.co.nz... or if you or anyone you know is looking for a caterer you can get hold of us through our socials or at contact@smokinoak.co.nz.

Cheers all!!

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
