SUMMER HOLIDAY PUPPET WORKSHOPS: DECEMBER FESTIVALS OF THE WORLD

EarthDiverse is pleased to announce its next Summer Holiday Workshop for young persons ages 8-14 years.

Come explore and experience the amazing December light festivals celebrated by people around the world and by our migrant communities right here in the Waikato. These workshops aim to expose young people to the beautiful diversity of the world, give them an opportunity to explore their own inner creativity through puppet making, and discover the connections they share with the cultures around them. Join professional puppeteer Ifat Vayner and children’s educator Nona Morris for four days of exploring the traditions, foods and crafts of the world’s December festivals.

• Mon 19 Dec 2022: Kwanzaa
• Tue 20 Dec 2022: Chanukah
• Wed 21 Dec 2022 Bodhi Day
• Thu 22 Dec 2022: Yule

9:00am-3:00pm each day.
