Opportunity for Tenor singers
There is an opening for three tenors in our four-part harmony men’s a cappella choir this year. Hamilton’s Mighty River Harmony is looking for choir tenors who have a soaring tenor voice with a musical tone to sing mostly melody in our close harmony style. We are looking for experienced singers who are able to hold their part against other harmony singers and who like to sing a range of music genre including swing standards, show songs, New Zealand music, and arrangements of modern songs. It would be preferable if you are able to read music; however, we provide all scores and training tracks for ear learners. If you fit these criteria, we'd love to arrange an audition with you. The new time-limited scheme is designed to de-risk developments, making finance easier to obtain for developers to start building. Developers often have to pre-sell a proportion of dwellings in any development in order to secure finance, which has become much more difficult in the current economic downturn.

Waikato may be getting a new ‘go-to’ body for building the region’s economy.
The previous economic development agency, Te Waka, shut down earlier this year, saying the “passionate advocates” no longer had the resources to do what they’d planned.
