Under Alert Level 2 our libraries are open with regular hours.
Central Library has reopened as a pop-up library due to the ongoing lift upgrade. Level 1 at Central Library will be open to the public, and library staff will be able to assist with accessing materials from Levels 2 and 3.

Police investigating a serious assault in Matangi are asking the public for help in identifying the offenders.
Two people were trying to speak to the occupants of a dark-coloured Ford Falcon on Saturday night that was doing noisy burnouts in the semi-rural area.
