The current library is struggling to fit into its space in Wilson Street, next to the council building, a statement said - with limited room for books, staff, and events.

Waipā District Council has committed to a feasibility study for a replacement.

Starting gun sounds for housing on Te Rapa Racecourse land with re-zoning
