EarthDiverse courses on World Literature:

EarthDiverse is exceptionally please to offer two Term 3 courses in its World Literature series: “Grand Narratives and Mythologies in the Western Traditions” with Dr Norman Franke, and “An Introduction to Arabic Literature in translation” with Dr Leen Al-Hadban. Both courses meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm, beginning Wed 4 August 2021 and continue for eight consecutive weeks. Choose your flavour! ‘Huge potential’ for Te Rapa Racecourse site if sale goes ahead

If the races gallop off to Tamahere, “exciting things” could happen with the sizeable city site they leave behind, property experts say.

On Tuesday, the Waikato Times revealed Waikato Thoroughbred Racing’s (WTR) plans to buy 150ha of farmland south of Hamilton to house the region’s three racing clubs at a new purpose-built racecourse and event centre.
