3 B Bowls
It has been great to see so many people come and give social bowls a go and lovely to see so many families having fun! There are some potential bowlers out there that's for sure! Our Friday 3 B Bowls night will be finishing on the 19th March. If you are still kean to come along to our club days on Saturday or Tuesday starting at 9.00am (arrive at 8.30 am) you are more than welcome to come as a social member. Its the same format, very friendly, no uniform, just flat shoes please. Bring your lunch and enjoy meeting a great bunch of people. One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
