Covid-19 CoronaVirus

Frans from Karapiro - Maungatautari

New Zealand wide lock down - If NZ is locked down for 14 days, which is highly likely if the Covid-19 Pandemic isn't brought under control before the School holidays, essential services will NOT be effected, and supermarkets won't close. People/Everybody will be ordered to self isolate for 14 days. I personally hope the NZ government does totally lock down NZ soon because that will be the only way they will bring covid-19 under control. The Country is hurting now. Lock down NZ for 14 days/2 weeks now instead of maybe having no option to order months of lock down later because covid-19 was killing people. I would rather suffer 14 days of self isolation than to possibly have a month or longer in isolation later. That's my opinion. What do you think?

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
