Free piano
Turn of 19th 20th century. At least 115 years old. Walnut, imported from Germany. Good condition and makes a nice piece of furniture. Tuned last year to general playing conditions and has some issues with tone and age related sound, but ok for a pub or singalong instrument. For learning grade work money might have to be spent. Has been in same family through generations. Am not a pianist myself and it doesn’t get played often.
Must be taken away before end of November

Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
