Unfortunately this year pensioners get paid on Xmas eve , which means like a vast amount of people they will have to go shopping on Xmas eve .We all know what a mad house it is in supermarkets at Xmas , please be considerate to other people especially the elderly thanks

If it was always consistent it would be great but the contractors currently choose the dates so here is the list, www.mpdc.govt.nz..., remeber that if you hve excess recycling you can take it to the refuse transfer stations at no charge, another benefit of living in the Matamata Piako District, some of our neighbours now charge for taking recyclables to their transfer stations.
