Hammond Park Planting & Weeding Bee Sat 28 July 1 - 3 pm
Rain or Shine.
Meet: Malcolm Street Entrance to Hammond Park Boardwalk
Wear: Long sleeves, gardening gloves, gumboots or similar
Bring: A spade and/gardening knife if you have one.
What: Planting on steep bank (adults only) and weeding around plants on an area that's ok for kids with adult supervision)
Afternoon tea in the park afterwards.
It's also an opportunity to meet Conservation Co-ordinator Paula Smith and find out if she can help you plant natives & remove pests & weeds on your Hammond or Hudson gully section.
