Acrylic Dirty Pour Workshop - Saturday 19th January

Arts for from Frankton

Have you ever wanted to try acrylic pouring but been put off by the cost of purchasing all of the materials or worried about the mess?
Well here is your chance to do just that without the start up costs or the mess.
Just purchase your own acrylic pour 1 hour experience. Our tutors will guide you through the process of acrylic pouring. Pick up to 5 different colours, mix them yourself, add your mediums and then pour the paint to make your own unique painting filled with flowing colours, shapes and cells.
We supply everything, and you will go home with your own unique 12x12" canvas, ready to hang on your wall.
These experiences usually retail for $75 but to celebrate our first Arts in the Park event we will be offering them for $39.95.
Painting takes place at Arts In the Park, 19 Jan 2019 and we are running a workshop every hour on the hour for people to come and have a go.
What do I do?
To purchase your picture email us at office@artsforhealth.co.nz and we will direct you to our bank account and confirm what workshop hours work best for you - Easy! Then come along on 19 January 2019 with your confirmation email or show us on your phone, to Norris Ward Park, Tristram St, Hamilton (the park app the Girls High) and have some fun.
This is a fantastic opportunity to do with your friend or the kids, (yes they will get dirty but we provide aprons and gloves, so only half messy)
Choose from 5 time slots 10am, 11am, 12 noon, 1pm & 2pm.
This is a fundraising event for Arts for Health Community Trust. Thank you for your support.

Poll: Do you think the six-week South Waikato closure is needed?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

www.waikatotimes.co.nz...
|The country’s main north/south artery is set to be cut south of Tokoroa for six weeks|, sparking disbelief from the truckies and workers using it daily and now facing long detours.

They say they don’t understand why State Highway 1 between Tokoroa and Kinleith has to be closed, and felt proposed detours were unsuitable to handle the tens of thousands of extra vehicles using them during the closure.

Do you think the six-week South Waikato closure is needed? Tell us your reasons in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).
