Romeo came from a hoarding situation. At 9 months old he had never been out of the tiny pen he shared with 20 other dogs. Leads, people, houses - they were all completely new and terrifying. But thanks to the help of plenty of yummy treats, toys, foster siblings & lots of patience, Romeo made huge progress. He got to go on adventures. He got to learn how to play. He got to find an awesome new home, and this December he will experience Christmas knowing that he is loved. And seeing that is the best feeling in the world! Our amazing Hillary Hikers from Edmund Hillary Village showed their support for Bowel Cancer New Zealand's Move Your Butt campaign this month!
Sporting the bright purple and orange campaign shirts, these wonderful walkers hit the Auckland waterfront and marched from Mission Bay to Kohimarama, raising awareness for bowel cancer and the importance of early detection along the way.
