She broke her kneecap and is now stranded for four weeks.
After contacting Hamilton City Council about the incident, staff visited the site and it's due to be fixed within a week.

It is going to cost Hamilton $ 329 MILLION for the addition of 4000 homes.
That is an additional $6580 per household that we will have to pay,going on the 2013 census that there were approx 50,000 houses in Hamilton at $3000 per household.
This is just PART of the additions that they have factored in that we dont need.
12 million for a train station at Rotokauri so about 200 people can train to Auckland.
20 million for a community HUB at Rototuna, what the hell are they going to build,another Claudlands edifice.?
27 million for Hamilton gardens developent,didnt see that one in the budget I was OK at $10 a year but where did that come from.
52 Million for biking projects...are you crazy!
What has happened to sort out what NEEDS to be done for ESSENTIAL works ,pay off debt, THEN look at fluffy luxuries..

The library, in Hamilton's Garden Place, was closed in November 2016 after part of it was found to be earthquake-prone. The $635,000 fix include changes such as a coffee cart and a more open frontage. Monday's re-opening will start with a ceremony at 9.30am, followed by storytelling, and children's entertainment and activities.
