JUNIOR TRACK WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FUNDRAISER - 'WE'VE GOT YOUR BACK' T-SHIRT
Our son Alex Schuler, has been selected to represent NZ at the Junior Track World Championships in China this August, this is completely self funded and he has been doing all sorts of fundraising to get himself there. Currently he has a T-shirt fundraiser - $100 gets your name or business name on the back of his T-shirt. He will be wearing the T-shirt to competitions, trainings, Junior World Camps and when travelling to China plus around the local area before and after the champs. We need to get screen printing done in the next week or so and are reaching out to see if there is anyone else who would like to support him. Acc. details are on the flyer. Poll: Do you think fining illegal dumpers will help reduce rubbish?
A crackdown on Hamilton rubbish dumpers may be paying off after the city council more than quadrupled the number of infringement notices it issues annually.
The council trialled notices with a “don’t be a tosser” message a couple of years ago, in an attempt to prick people’s consciences, but they weren’t successful, so it has gone the other way and started taking a tougher line.
