FREE BEDS

Samantha from Temple View

We have 3 x bed sets for free these were 2nd hand when we bought them and have some wear and tear, still have some life left in them. Pick up only. Beds as follows:
1 X Super king with 2 part base. Could do with a mattress topper, some staining - not sure what from as no kids (or adults) have soiled the bed - missing one of the wheels on one of the bases but this doesn't have much of an effect - some spring have been sticking out from base but these have been bent with pliers and shouldn't be a problem
QUEEN TAKEN. 1 X Queen mattress and base - thin mattress, again mattress topper would put new life into the mattress.some stains, firm mattress. Raised bed legs. No wheels.
1 X single mattress and base, no legs as these were misplaced, some small stains on mattress there when we got the bed 2nd hand. Comfy for smaller child.
All beds pick up only - free to those interested - in plastic wrapping for protection during transport. Contact Toni on 021 022 12995 for more info. And address.

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? 🛻🚨🚓

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?

Poll: How are your manu skills?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Waikato MP Tim van de Molen could have inadvertently been gifted his new election campaign slogan after taking out the Waikato Times political manu challenge.

Guest judge Alia McQueen said the National Party MP showed loads of “style and energy” as he out-bombed his parliamentary colleagues at Saturday’s impromptu manu challenge at Wellington Street Beach in Hamilton.

How are your manu skills? Tell us more in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Two people were trying to speak to the occupants of a dark-coloured Ford Falcon on Saturday night that was doing noisy burnouts in the semi-rural area.
