Flood damage in King Country set to cost millions
Repair costs for flood damage across the Waitomo district is likely to cost millions, the council says.
It comes after King Country was battered by heavy rain, with some areas getting a month’s worth of rain in two days.

Drone ‘incident’ during Balloons Over Waikato landing
A pilot taking part in Balloons Over Waikato had an incident with a drone in Hamilton on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened while the balloon was landing at Wake Park, near Aberdeen School in Dinsdale.
