Grass berm

Gerard from Chedworth

Hi Guys,
I am wondering if I am the only person who can get very upset if the council, or contracted businesses by the council, paper delivery people drive their car or truck on the berm in front of your house, wrecking the grass, making grass less strips by slipping wheels, and the then they say they will be back tomorrow to reinstate it. Or saying that is council land and we do what we want. I think, because I mow it and look after it, it is my responsability and I can tell them not to drive on MY grass.
When we moved into our rented place about three years ago we spend a lot of time and some money to reinstate the berm mess that was left by the previous renters. We had this year; road sealing, No clean up. Much later tractor with road sweeper sweeps leaves and stone chips to the gutters and leave it there, Broom truck will be here tomorrow, this was three months ago. Foot path repair, one square meter of concrete. Full size concrete mixer truck on the grass. One truck will orange cones, parked on the grass, 2 trucks with concrete workers on the grass, 2 utes on the grass.
I think I will give up looking after MY berm.
What do you think?
