Local Hamilton Gully Restoration Advocate, George Lusty, Passes

todd from EarthDiverse

EarthDiverse mourns the untimely and sudden passing of George Lusty, one of EarthDiverse's Environment Instructors in our Native Forest Restoration series of courses. His funeral was this afternoon. On the day he passed he was out leading a group of students on a practical gully restoration session. George passed doing what he loved most: sharing his knowledge, planting saplings and being with loved ones. Our heartfelt condolences go out to all of his family and whanua. George, you may be gone, but we will never forget you. With each Totara we plant we remember you and all you have given. Rest in Peace our friend and tireless worker for planet earth.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
