Old queen size mattress - free to a good home
We have an old inner sprung mattress (at least 20 years old) that is still quite firm and comfortable. It is from a smoke-free home. It is an Australian brand (Erlere Bedding)
We'd prefer to give it away than see it go to the dump. It will be available for pickup from tomorrow (30 Jan 2018). We'd like to get rid of it as soon as possible, so it will be first come, first serve.

Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
