W.O.W. FRIENDSHIP CLUB

Miriama from Hamilton East

Kia Ora and GOOD MORNING POTENTIAL SISTERS OF W.O.W. ON NEIGHBOURLY!!! My mind has been pretty full and occupied this past 3 days. I've been preparing to go to Auckland...then North of Auckland for 5 days. I was leaving directly after our coffee morning, but my car is in the GARAGE:( getting fixed on CLYDE AND PEACHGROVE. The mechanic says it will be done by 2-3pm:) I was planning on cancelling my trip; but I felt it necessary still to leave...as it it will be a VERY UNIQUE AND SPECIAL ROAD TRIP for me(I will put photos up of it). I truly would like to THANK YOU ALL for your replies too...I'm very excited to hear your comments and look forward to our paths meeting. We are now meeting at Kelly's for Coffee(so no need to bring a plate). I will put up photos of our coffee morning for those who aren't able to make it as well. Here is a photo of my sister Huihana(with the cane stick)...It's our first discussion about W.O.W. at the Royal Indian Restaurant on Cameron Road.(unsure if photo is put up). I.T. isn't one of my talents as you can see but I've improved immensely:) Ma Te Wa...Ka kite ano...until the time...see you again

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
