looking for a small tv or dvd plus usb device

Nettie from Hamilton East

hi im looking for a small tv or somesort of " device or thing" (im terrible with computer langage ha ha ha) it fror a realy poor and lonely elderly lady, who would like something small like i described , so she can watch a movie, and if it has a usb conection included, i could help her, by putting some nice documentries from her time 1940s on it so she can watch those as well. it would open up her world a little i feel, so i told her that i was going to hunt for something like i described, but the items i looked at, are all so expencive and far to complicated for her, so if there is anyone who has a SIMPLE item that can play a dvd and has a usb conection, please let me know, it would have to be cheap, as she is poor but i told her that i would help her financially, out of my own pocket or do a trade with some one for it, and she was so unbelieveble gratefull for that. and would pay me back (which ofcourse i refused lol ) she does not mind if its old, as long as she can watch something that interests her. she hardly leaves the house as she is frail and scared of falling somewhere on the street and than she would have a enourmous ambulance bill to pay ( which would leave her pennyless even more ) so please.......ask around or if you spot something LET ME KNOW A.S.A.P. thank you kindly my phone number is 02108375656 leave a message TEXT OR VOICE if im unable to anwer my mobile, and i will get back to any calls regarding this subject, as i feel she needs and certainly deserves it.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
