The Have a Go Day and disability expo provides an excellent opportunity to learn about accessing the region’s bus network, and gain skills and advice to enable people to live the independent life they choose. There will be two buses on site, a disability expo with many local providers, a wheelchair/mobility scooter skills course and plenty of one-on-one advice from BUSIT staff and disability providers.
The day is organised by Waikato Regional Council, Hamilton City Council, Life Unlimited and CCS Disability Action. We hope to see you there!

Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favourite Dr Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza from Tony-winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.
Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!
Director - Julia Turner

Choreographer – Mike Sorensen

The extension is in excellent condition, with no colour contrast with the standard top- ie there has been no wood fading.
6 comfortable chairs are part of this auction, & the padded areas are covered in a velvet-like fabric.
The legs of both the table & the chairs are turned & elegant.
It is not a modern table. I was told that it was 'old' when I bought it privately.
All joins are in a solid condition, no exposure to borer, from a non-smoking home. It is a very comfortable height for eating & socialising.
There are 2 small flaws, which is reflected in the price; there is a fine line like a pulled thread on the upright of 1 chair, & on another chair there is a piece of wood missing (from before my time), which I doubt would be noticed once covered in either perhaps a matching stain or rubbed with a walnut.
Measurements;
Length= 150.5 cm
Extended length= 205cm
Width= 100cm
Height= 72.5 cm
To the chair seat= 49.5cm
To the top of the chair back= 103.5cm.
I am selling as I am downsizing.
No other items shown in the photos are for sale.
Price: $300
