Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Whakapapa lessons and a petition with more signatures than residents were presented to councillors to try and save Kāwhia Harbour from “eggs” doing donuts and creating their own trails on the beloved beach.

The Ōtorohanga District Council was left with a lot to ponder after its meeting on Tuesday, where a delegation of concerned members of Te Taiao o Kāwhia Moana made their feelings known.

Do you think driving on the beach should be allowed? Tell us your reasons in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).
