Streeties have been defecating in public, throwing fire crackers and pulling up floorboards hunting for cigarette butts, but a local politician says them getting a job is the answer.

Hamilton East MP Ryan Hamilton was among Hamilton leaders the Waikato Times spoke to in the aftermath of revelations of increasing feral behaviour in the city’s CBD, and he said with lower inflation and economic indicators starting to turn the corner, businesses would need staff.
