Painting skirtings
If you're intending to replace the carpet in the room you're painting, its helpful to cut the old carpet a few centimeters away from the timber skirting. This gives you access to painting the whole skirting, right to the floor board. Its helpful to sand the timber, tgen vaccum away the dust and carpet fluff first.
