Kia ora neighbours, we at Waikato DHB want more of you to have a say in health. We’re on a journey to enable better access to local community health and wellbeing. Come along and share your knowledge and experience as we work together on this.

Community Health Forums are a gathering of local people who share in a conversation about what matters to their community and hear what’s happening from the DHB and other local organisations/groups.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
