Music Moves Me Trust's 'crafty ladies' have been busy making garden ornaments from recycled china. We are running a 'garden art' stall in the during the Katherine Mansfield Garden Party on Sunday February 18 from 9.00am-4.00pm in the Rogers Rose Garden during the Hamilton Gardens Festival. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)

Crime and anti-social behaviour in the area has been in the spotlight after recent news of a man defecating in the street near a city pub and another who flipped tables out the back of a bar after being found scrounging cigarette butts and asked to leave.
