We have said goodbye to overdue fines for our Junior and Young Adult collections! To celebrate the fee removal and waiving of outstanding fees, we are running a month-long 'pay it forward' campaign in partnership with Waikato Women's Refuge - Te Whakaruruhau. A foodbank drive, running from each of our six libraries, will be open for non-perishable donations between now and 1 August. Got any questions? Let us know!

Regardless of our different faiths, abilities, cultures, ages, orientations and genders - we want to make sure that our communities are safe and welcoming for all.
There are many ways to take part! From hosting a multicultural potluck or film screening to providing prevention information / resources in other languages, there are thousands of ways big and small to make our households, neighbourhoods, schools and businesses even more inclusive. It could even be as simple as learning from a neighbour how to say ‘hello’ in their first language or ensuring local footpaths are clear and accessible.
