Conservationists are calling for feral cats to be added to DOC’s Predator Free 2050 hit list PF2050 list, saying the ‘wily’ predators are bad news for wildlife.
Predator Free Hakarimata coordinator Greg Townsend says when they first started doing pest control in the reserve near Ngāruawāhia, feral cats were “a real issue”.
