How much control does your boss have over your life?
The Sunday Star-Times is investigating the increasing creep of control your boss might have over your life outside work. This might include having to send photos of your remote working space (or having it personally checked off), having to abide by a social media policy, not being able to express political views in social settings, or not being able to have a secondary income. Waikato MP Tim van de Molen could have inadvertently been gifted his new election campaign slogan after taking out the Waikato Times political manu challenge.
Guest judge Alia McQueen said the National Party MP showed loads of “style and energy” as he out-bombed his parliamentary colleagues at Saturday’s impromptu manu challenge at Wellington Street Beach in Hamilton.
