Superhome owners opening their homes to the public this weekend

Colleen Hawkes Reporter from Homed

Healthy, warm, dry and cheap to run. Owners of Superhome houses in Auckland, Christchurch, Nelson and Otago are hosting open homes from August 14-15 so you can see just how warm and cosy a home can be with the right design approach.

Last week I received a letter in the post from the H.C.C. Rates Department stating that Your Direct Debit For Rates.
The Council has now set rates for the new year and your direct debit payment will be > Payment frequency fortnightly. Payment amount $ 103.51. Date of Payment change 2 September 2021> Last payment date 18 August 2022. For more information about the rates please visit our website hamilton.govt.nz/rates or Phone 07 838 6688
The new amount of $ 103.51 cents is an increase of $ 14.91 per fortnight since 28th May 2020 I ask any one how can our HCC have the nerve to spend Hamilton rate payers money doing the art work on part of Rostrevor Street when the HCC need to do urgent maintenance to our roads and foot paths NOW not when the Cows come home over the past 65 years I have seen Hamilton City or Fountain City grow in to a most lovely place to live.

strawberry plants

Melissa from Frankton

Free rooted strawberry plants--my strawberries got real keen on making runners last summer and autumn and they're now well rooted and ready to go to a new home. Around six dug up right now, but more available.

Mature navel orange tree

Melissa from Frankton

Lovely tree, around 2m tall. Gave us a massive crop of seedless oranges. Unfortunately, it is planted too close to our cherry guava and needs to find a new home as they both grow larger. Will help dig it out, but you should bring something to put the root ball in.

Price: $65
