There were tears, whoops of joy and a life-changing payday as New Zealand’s White Ferns stormed to the top of the world with victory over South Africa in Dubai on Monday morning.

Led by a standout all-round performance from Melie Kerr who was named player of the tournament, the White Ferns beat South Africa by 32 runs in the women’s Twenty20 World Cup final.

Housing stock is starting to move on the Coromandel Peninsula, including a dilapidated place one block back from Cooks Beach that sold to a Hamilton bargain hunter for $500,000.

Real estate companies are starting to see more deals go, however, prices have stabilised with high supply levels still outstripping demand.
