Arts for Health Community Trust Annual Art Competition
Entries for our 2018 Art Competition / Exhibition must be delivered to 2 Seddon Road on Friday 10th August between 8am and 11am. There are two categories - Adults section and Students section (under 18 years of age). $1,000 first prize in Adults section and $150 first prize in Students section. Entry fee for Adults is $20 per entry, and $10 for Students. Opening Night is Friday 17th August at David Lloyd Gallery, 78 Lake Crescent at 5.30pm. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
