The act was introduced to make life safer for everyone - then these scooters were introduced. In every industry today strict controls have to be put in place to ensure nobody hurts themselves even when it seems obvious that they would have to do something really stupid to do so.
So then, how does this apply to the scooters and perhaps having controls in place to ensure under-age riders aren't using them and riding in the wrong places? [GPS control could shut them down when riding around the lake for example] Could someone be prosecuted when someone underage gets hurt or killed riding them?
I'm hoping someone who knows more about the Health and Safety act could shed some light on this.

Whoever is responsible for delivery of Hamilton Press, we haven't had one delivered in months, possibly years. My neighbour lets us read his, but that's not always convenient.

Mayor Andrew King backed the venture. He said Tainui wanted the land to be close enough to the Waikato River's bank, so it could launch a waka as part of the tourism experience.
Should the gardens move away from being GARDENS and just become a tourist attraction with different themes?

I see the arguments for and against keeping them - I'm just creating a poll because I'm interested in seeing what the percentages for and against are.
