Graeme Dingle Foundation Fundraiser
Hey guys,
Just thought I'd try here to generate some interest.
My boss has signed up for the Drop Your Boss 2020 fundraiser for the Graeme Dingle Foundation and we're looking to raise more money to help GDF run some amazing programmes within our community!
As an added incentive for our store, it means he jumps off the Sky Tower if we reach our target which he isn't so keen on.
We have a givealittle page running that is quite frankly looking very sad, and we'd love if our community got involved and helped to give back to a charity that has supported our kids in schools for quite a while now.
Even if we don't reach our goal, 100% of donations goes directly to the Graeme Dingle Foundation and is well worth it!
If you're interested in getting involved and want to know more about the good the Graeme Dingle Foundation does, head to:
www.dinglefoundation.org.nz...
And donate at:
Givealittle.co.nz/fundraiser/ever-wanted-to-push-your-boss-off-the-sky-tower
(All donations over $5 are tax deductible).
It's really easy to donate online, and every dollar helps. Thank you!
Scam Alert: Bank cold calls
ASB is warning customers about reports of cold calls from scammers claiming to be from ASB. These scammers are trying to obtain personal information, including usernames, dates of birth, and verification codes sent to your mobile phone.
🛡️ The "Caller Check" Test
If you get a call from someone claiming to be from ASB and you’re unsure, just ask them for a Caller Check. You will then be able to verify the call through the app.
Remember, banks will:
❌ Never ask for your banking passwords, PINs, or verification codes
❌ Never need to know your full credit card number – especially the CVC
❌ Never ask you to download software or remotely access your device
❌ Never ask you to purchase gift cards or transfer funds.
If you have received a phone call and think your account has been compromised, call ASB on 0800 ASB FRAUD (0800 272 372), or visit your local branch.
Poll: Are you a Te Huia fan?
All three Hamilton MPs appear to be united behind the retention of the Te Huia passenger rail service between Hamilton and Auckland, as well as potentially expanding it to Tauranga.
But whether Hamilton East’s Ryan Hamilton, Hamilton West’s Tama Potaka and soon-to-be Labour list MP Georgie Dansey have the combined power to shunt transport minister Chris Bishop and Prime Minister Christopher Luxon onto their line of thinking remains to be seen.
Are you a Te Huia fan? Tell us more in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).
