Poll: Garden Place - what do you want?

Matt Bowen Reporter from Waikato Times

Hi everyone,

The great Garden Place debate continues. Three options have now been proposed, with one getting preliminary endorsement from Hamilton City Council.

Option one: bit.ly...
- A redesign proposal from Matt Stark, Steve McLennan and Brian White.

Option two: bit.ly...
- A rival proposal from Chow:Hill director Brian Squair.

Now, option three: bit.ly...
- Hamilton architect Andrew Bydder suggests a third option - do nothing.

What's your choice?

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
