Pack your bags and grab that passport - the reconstruction of Hamilton airport’s northern terminal to handle the resumption of international flights by Jetstar next month is now complete.
The Waikato Times was given a tour on Monday, with Waikato Regional Airport Limited (WRAL) chief executive Mark Morgan saying only a few touch-ups were needed at the terminal by contractors.

One size fits all rates cap model ‘unworkable’, says Waipā DC
Waipā District Council says the government’s “one size fits all” proposal to cap rate rises could disproportionately harm fast-growing councils such as Waipā.
On Wednesday, Strategic Planning and Policy committee members debated the council’s submission on the proposed rates cap model.
