Shot cat.
I truly am sorry to read about a cat shot in the face (Waikato Times today).
Every other pet has to be contained on their owners property, yet cat's are allowed to be fed then let out to deposit excrement in neighbouring gardens; fight with neighbouring cats; yowl in the night; defecate in people's vegetable gardens, children's sand pits, on and on.
Is it not time those with cats had to obey the same laws of everyone else's pets?
I can only say: NO ONE loves your pet like you do. Keep it close, on your own property.
Again, I hope the cat in question recovers and is kept at home.

Strawberry farm Kane’s strawberries might just be the best in the country, prompting Christmas queues and being eaten by generations of families.
The family-owned strawberry farm in Leamington is known throughout the Waikato region for their strawberries, which people say have the best flavour and quality.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
