Future journalists, musicians and thespians of Hamilton will still have a place to cut their teeth next year as Wintec will keep courses that had been facing the chop.
Some courses still won’t be offered to new applicants from 2025, although it’s unclear which ones.

Drone ‘incident’ during Balloons Over Waikato landing
A pilot taking part in Balloons Over Waikato had an incident with a drone in Hamilton on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened while the balloon was landing at Wake Park, near Aberdeen School in Dinsdale.
