Relay For Life is just four and a half weeks away!
This inspirational community event brings everyone together to celebrate, honour and remember loved ones with cancer.
Join us to cheer on survivors who take on the opening lap and all the other teams who keep their baton moving for 12 hours.
There'll be food trucks, good music, entertainment, volleyball and special moments to remember like the Candelight Ceremony.
Sign up your team at the link below!
If you're a cancer survivor, you are invited to join us for a complimentary morning tea. Please contact admin@cancersociety.org.nz to RSVP.
$50 garden centre vouchers!
Our winners this week have won $50 to spend at a local garden centre.
Congratulations to:
Cassie Arauzo from Cockle Bay
Elizabeth Williams from Hillcrest
Luke Shamy from Hornby
Mitchell Hopping from Wallacetown
Get in touch with our helpdesk team here if you're on this list! If you're not a winner, check back next week just in case.
What do you think of this 11-year-old's chosen cause?
A Whangamatā 11-year-old has placed his award-winning mullet up for auction to raise money for Starship Hospital.
Kahū Hall, who named himself ‘Taco’ when he was three years old, is selling his mullet after growing it for three years. Taco said he was motivated to raise the money after his friend Evie Taylor stayed at Starship Hospital for a heart operation.
