Volunteers needed for Hospice Waikato's new Hospice Shop in Claudelands
We are looking for volunteers to fill the following positions at our brand new shop located on Grey Street, Claudelands.
Retail assistants, fashion merchandisers, storeroom assistants, clothing/linen/bric-a-brac sorters and van drivers.
Morning shifts (9.00am – 12.30pm) or afternoon shifts (12.30am – 4pm) are available, Monday to Saturday.
Join a great group of people and build new friendships while raising valuable funds to ensure Hospice services remain free of charge in your community.

Roadworks on SH1 between Hampton Downs and Rangiriri
From 7 to 18 December, there will be night-time closures on SH1 between Hampton Downs and Rangiriri (Sundays to Thursdays, 9pm to 5am) to carry out wire rope barrier maintenance. Please expect delays when travelling through this area.

Hospital ED new location of interest in measles spread
Waikato Hospital’s Emergency Department is the latest location of interest for measles.
Two separate days in the last week were listed on Health NZ’s website on Friday morning as a place where someone with measles was known to have visited.
