Social Cycling group
I am looking at setting up a social road cycling group for rides around 30 - 40k, mostly in the South Hamilton area, exploring the roads around Ngahinapouri and Matangi areas. The group would cater for riders of all abilities and nobody would be left behind. The rides would take in a coffee shop en route or at the finish. the group would best suit anybody with a road riding bike. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
