CAN YOU HELP!!!
We are a group of ladies who knit and crochet blankets, jumpers, hats, scarves and mittens/gloves for people in Eastern Europe who live under war conditions. Our work goes to Romania (the poorest country in Eastern Europe), Moldova and the Ukraine to help those who are in desperate need.
If you have any left-over wool that is surplus to your requirements, we would love to have it as we can make use of it - even small quantities are useful β we donβt waste anything.!!

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if itβs approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
