Hearing Aids

William from Hearing Health New Zealand Limited

Community based audiology services are deemed to be
non-essential services

As you are aware we are now under Covid 19 level 3 restrictions

Level 3
Under alert level 3 some face-to-face appointments may be provided for urgent care appointments, but only so long as clinicians can take appropriate measures to manage public health risks.

Clinicians are expected to use a high level of clinical judgement when considering whether a patient meets the urgent criteria for a face-to-face consultation.

Mask must be worn
Maintain a 2 m distance between us
Your clinician may wear some form of PPE – such as surgical masks and gloves

I will call into the office very other day to check mail/ phone messages, deal with courier packages (incoming and outgoing)

Please contact me if you need any assistance with your hearing aids during these troubling times

Poll: Do you think a partial demolition is the right call?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

One of the most recognisable buildings at Waikato Diocesan School for Girls could be demolished, except for part of the façade.

The school is asking for resource consent to knock down most of the earthquake-prone Cherrington House as part of plans to build a larger, safer administration block.

Do you think a partial demolition is the right call? Tell us your reasons in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).
