Introduction to Pottery Wheel throwing and Hand building (Thursday mornings)

Suitable for: Beginners and Intermediate
9:30 -12:30pm on Thursdays, 8 July – 29 July 2021 (4 weeks)

An introduction to pottery. During this course you will learn the basics of throwing a vessel on the wheel and the fundamental techniques involved in hand-building.

We will also cover firing and decoration with the aim of leaving the course with at least one finished piece. This course is suitable for beginners, however if you already have experience with clay — we can build on your experience and develop your skill set further.

Cost: Members $110; Non-members $140 (Clay and firing are extra)
