Hamilton to get first private crematorium

The Team Reporter from Hamilton Press

A Te Rapa funeral business will be home to Hamilton's first private crematorium.

The cremator will be 17 tonnes, pink, and is coming from Florida. It will make for a "one-stop shop" of services on site at Simply Cremations and Simplicity Funerals, says funeral director Carla Vaetoe.

It will also cater for cardboard caskets which can't currently be cremated in Hamilton.
