Poll: Do you know anyone affected by the Glen Afton mine disaster?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Most people passing through the sleepy North Waikato settlement of Glen Afton would never know it was the location of one of the country’s most tragic mining disasters.

Now, you can’t miss it. The Glen Afton Pukemiro Society, working in conjunction with a community-led development team at the Waikato District Council and others in the community, west of Huntly, has created an impressive memorial.

Do you know anyone affected by the Glen Afton mine disaster? Tell us your reasons in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).
