Did you know a Taumarunui was getting a pet food factory?
The cash-strapped King Country town of Taumarunui is about to celebrate the opening of a business which has injected more than $60 million into its new site, employing around 50 locals.
King Country Pet Food is situated at the old Affco meat works site just outside of Taumarunui and is about to start full-time production of premium pet food for the international market.
