Loco the Taco is coming to explore the kitchen with all the creative tools he’s got! We will learn how to use different materials such as foam and felt to design and create a puppet character. We will create a muppet (mouth puppet) and learn how to move the puppets in short scenes. A creative arts school holiday workshop for kids aged 8-14 years. No previous art experience necessary. All materials included. This course is offered as an in-person workshop only. Please bring a packed lunch.

Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
